AGV | Flexible Logistics Handling Equipment

AGV | Flexible Logistics Handling Equipment

Product Information

Frequent material turnover in workshop logistics often puts unbearable strain on manual handling. An Automated Guided Vehicle travels smoothly along a pre-set magnetic tape path on the floor, stopping precisely at each workstation. Featuring a responsive obstacle detection system, it avoids collisions in real time while shuttling through the plant. Its high load capacity allows heavy materials to be easily moved, effectively bridging the logistics gaps between production lines.

Key Advantages

The compact, robust chassis offers strong heavy-load capacity, easily carrying heavy materials and maintaining stability on complex workshop floors. High-precision magnetic sensors ensure accurate routing, enabling millimeter-level docking even during long-distance back-and-forth transport. A responsive obstacle detection system is integrated around the vehicle body, instantly triggering deceleration and emergency stops when encountering people or obstacles, ensuring absolute safety in mixed human-machine environments.

Working Principle

Once started, the magnetic navigation sensors at the bottom continuously read the magnetic field signals from the floor tape. The control system calculates the magnetic field deviation in real time and adjusts the speeds of the left and right drive wheels, keeping the vehicle on its pre-set track for precise magnetic tape navigation. When reaching a workstation, RFID or landmark sensors send a stop command, and the drive wheels brake rapidly for precise positioning. During automatic material handling, LiDAR and bumper sensors at the front constantly scan the road ahead. Upon detecting an obstacle, the system automatically decelerates to a stop within a safe distance and resumes operation once the path is clear.

Application Fields

1.Automotive manufacturing: Delivery of heavy components like engines and gearboxes.
2.New energy batteries: Inter-process transfer of battery modules or electrode rolls.
3.Warehousing and logistics: Automated transfer of full pallets within the warehouse.
4.Pharmaceutical and food: Transport of packaging materials and finished goods in cleanrooms.

FAQ

Q1: Is this Automated Guided Vehicle easily affected by interference in the workshop environment?

A: It has strong anti-interference capability. As long as the floor magnetic tape is laid properly and strong magnetic fields are avoided, it runs stably. Additionally, the equipment has a built-in off-track alarm; if it deviates from the path beyond a set distance, the system will automatically stop and alert.

Q2: If someone suddenly steps out in the aisle, can the equipment stop in time?

A: Yes. A responsive obstacle detection system is equipped around the vehicle. When sensors detect a person or obstacle within the safe distance, the vehicle will immediately decelerate and stop smoothly. Once the path is clear, it resumes operation automatically.

Q3: If a dozen Automated Guided Vehicles operate simultaneously in the workshop, will traffic jams occur?

A: No. We provide an intelligent traffic management system. Multiple vehicles on the same local network share real-time location data via wireless communication. When two vehicles meet at an intersection, the system automatically assigns the right of way to prevent collisions and deadlocks, ensuring efficient and orderly automatic material handling.
